Runescape Combat Money

Ask any Runescape player in the world where to get Runescape combat money and they will tell you the same thing, go fo the green dragons. Always the green dragons and if you are lucky they may mix it up and tell you to go for the blue.
But what happens when you are not at a level sufficiently high enough to go after what is now an incredibly crowded area with revenants thrown into the mix as well?
Here is one of my favourite places in Runescape to train my combat for money and they are mainly geared towards members monsters because lets face facts here...nothing much is going to make you money in freeplay:

Cave crawlers

You will find these in the slayer caves East of Rellekka in the first chamber. What makes these so good for combat money is while the poison may be strong all you really need are a couple of vials of cheap anti-poison costing around 1k gold each and you are good to go. What makes these particularly interesting is that they drop ranarr herbs a lot of the time as well as kwuarms, dwarf weeds and even a fair quantity of charms, giving the ability to bank 150k in about 30 minutes which even a low level player can achieve, and since the little monsters can barely hit anyway you have next to no problems with food.
While I say that food is not needed it is probably better for the very young players to take along two cakes or pizzas along with their two vials of anti-poison in order to get a feel for what they can handle. Something that can be eaten in multiple bites so as not to take up too much room. Another good trick if you have managed to acquire it is using the spell bones to peaches as then you have unlimited food supplies just by killing monsters, with your fire and nature runes of course. The peaches heal you for 80 points of health.
You do need a slayer level of 10 to go after these but some easy tasks such as dogs from the Burthorpe slayer master will remedy that.
There are a variety of ways to get here, including but not limited to running North and then East from the river, using a lyre from the Fremennik Trials quest and a fairy ring, however they would need a quest completed to gain access.
There are also cave crawlers in the Slayer caves in Lumbridge swamp however they require more items to go along with, a spiny helm so you do not get hit for 110-180 points of damage to the hands called wall beasts, a light source and one which will preferably not either go out or blow up and a tinderbox.
Much more dangerous but lucrative for the experienced players are the level 138 cave crawlers after doing the Pollnivneach slayer quest, they will hit much higher than you are used to with the smaller versions and their poison is a lot stronger. It is probably recommended that you bring something stronger like a prayer or super-restore potion to deal with these as they do hit you simultaneously and from all sides. If not careful you will be overwhelmed.

Getting to the Slayer Dungeon

Running from Seers village you have three choices, but generally speaking only two will apply depending on whether you have done the Fremmenik Trials Quest or your agility is of a suitably high level.
Firstly if neither is sufficiently high turn to the West from Seers village and then at the edge of McGrubors woods you will need to turn North, keeping to that course until you reach the river and then heading East. You will come to an Ogre from the trials quest but keep running and you will come to the cave.
If the trial has been completed simply grab your lyre and strum it, take an optional shark to pier to the South-West or simply run South East to the cave. This route may bring you in contact with a wolf or two but they can easily be outran.

Suggested Primary Equipment

Any number of items can be used to fight these little lizards but my personal favourites are relatively cheap, you could of course use a whacking great Godsword but the point would be less...and a little too much like overkill. Barrows items have the same problem, you coulduse Guthans for its healing properties but these creatures hit so little and poison so high that you will end up wasting a good portion of profit on repairs, and Dharoks is not good either due to the relatively small amount of hitpoints they have.

Instead you could buy everything that I use for less than 1M with certain luxuries like abyssal whips, fury, bandos boots if you can afford them.
Rune full helm,  platebody and legs with optional kite shield
Nothing else is required, you won't be getting hit so often that you need more defense and you will not need to make costly repairs,  but instead of the rune kite shield I generally use an obsidian shield sinces it is black and looks cool...the small strength bonus doesn't seem worth it but over time it adds up especially as you only loss a couple of points of defensive bonus to the rune.
Glory
This is one of the top amulets in the whole game, and very reasonably priced at between 50-60k. It gives 10+ to all attack bonuses, +6 to all defense bonuses and +3 to prayer as well as +6 to your strength. Couple this with some very handy teleports to Edgeville and Draynor and you have awesomeness incarnate.
Skill Cape (or obsidian cape)
At +9 to all defenses what is there not to love, this is the secondary reason to get a skill cape as they are along with obsidian capes second only to the legendary fire cape.
Ring of Wealth
While these give no active stats they do allow rerolls on rare items that could be dropped...they are worth bringing if you do not have the money to buy a berserker ring at almost 6M in game gold.
Barrows Gloves
You do have to do the Recipe for Disaster quest but these are the best gloves in the game, and a worthy reward. They give a very hefty +12 to strength and +12 to attack and defensive stats (barring magic and summoning at +6) so are well worth the price tag. They can be bought from the culiomancers chest only under Lumbridge castle.

Recommended Secondary Equipment

Law rune, air runes, lyre or an optional faerie staff.
Because lets face it, why would you wish to run to a bank when you are full of the spoils of hunting?
The lyre is to teleport to Relleka to the West of the cave.
Two antipoison potions
These likely won't be needed for a while until you get hit, but when you do and you are damaged for 80 hitpoints constantly you will be glad you brought them.
Some shark or lobsters.
Sometimes you forget about the poison, which is why you shouldn't forget these. Two are sufficient for the time you will be spending in the caves and if you have the bones to peaches spell you can run to the basilisk area and pick up some bones from the floor, taking care not to hit anything or they will hurt you.
